New Beginnings

A small child looking forward into a bright future

Cast Aside

In a wooded area I spotted an old wooden chair. I wondered how it got there. Had someone just tossed it aside? Although it is an inanimate object, I felt sorry for the abandoned chair.

  1. I love the monochrome photos and these two are especially beautiful. I'm like you on the old chair but wouldn't it be great to hear it's history. This is a great meme that I really should join sometimes.

Have a wonderful day and one of these days I will get caught up and actually read posts on the same day they were posted. I hope!!

    Hugs,

  2. I really like your first photo - the silhouette is perfect. The window detail is pretty cool too.

  3. I like the second photo, very natural. And if I were there I would pick that chair and bring it home!

  10. I feel sorry for the broken and neglected stuff, too. Makes me wonder how people toss stuff....

Love the shot of the child. A beautiful metaphor.
