It was a rainy day but the garden had to be maintained. I was raking the leaves and enjoying every minute. My hard hat was slipping off my head and I was a wee-bitty dirty, but aside from that, I was dry and happy in my yellow rain gear holding my yellow rake. Hehehehe – What a sight, eh?

Susan, you are a kick, that is a great photo of you. You know I don't think I've ever worn a hard hat while doing yard work before, maybe I should give it a try.

ReplyDeleteMinutes before I started raking, I was driving a Z track and when we operate heavy machinery, we're required to wear a hard hat for safety reasons.
I was still wearing it after I got off because the rain was going down my neck - with the hard hat it didn't. Hehehehe
I take care of approximately 400 acres of land - 34 gardens and have to lay fresh sod on occasion and cut the grass which required the use of machinery.
I'm glad you like my big orange gloves, Rae! Hahahahaha. I have an extra pair if you want them. :))
